I dont know whether its a curse or something that India is facing since last decade. They perform well throughout the tournament, but they fail to clinch the series. It happened again..And this time , its in the homeland. Really painful. Sunday's match was a disaster. Indian's top order didn survive even for 1.5 hrs. Hmmm I thought they hired a cab or something and went to Tawang to get the glimpse of Dalai Lama. :). Anyway Dhoni tried to play a responsible innings, but he failed to keep the scorebooard ticking. And yeah..we really miss the WALL. Bring him back.
The indian innings ended with Pravin kumar's finest knock. This person muscling the ball over the boundaries, is really happy to watch. The another person like him is , Dr. Venugopal Rao of Deccan Chargers.. hehe Hitter mania !!. So the Aussies did well on their part and achieved the target. Afterall aussies are not aholes to lose , that too chasing a meagre score of 170. Well, watver happened is happened !. No remorse. The next match will be a really fun to watch.
After the match, I just felt ...'Oh..did i waste a sunday?'. I had a plan of travelling on mumbai local trains throught the day and to take photos at each raillway station name board. Funny huh ?. But still, I dont have a choice !! :).Will make it up in the next week. I had a nostradamus that India will not win the series. But It shouldn have happened in the penultimate match of the series itself. But i personally think such loses will make the BCCI to think before selecting the team for a series. Also the players will realize how important to win a ODI or a TEST series and to climb up the rankings table. Lest we forget this loss. Hope Indians smash the aussies in the final ODI. Nov 11. Nerul Stadium. Here I come !! :).

Sachin Vs Indian Team
Nov 5, 2009, Hyderabad, Hero Honda Cup
Sachin scored 17000. Hmm Yeah . But I don’t know why that much hype had been created for that in yest’s match. We worship sachin, I agree and he can make miracles to happen like he did in Sharjah ‘98 . But I mean, come on guys..give a break..He was just short of 7 runs..which however he cudve made in the yest’s match. Anyway leave it. It was really a good ‘cricket’ match yest. After a long time, I saw sachin hitting six off a pull shot. Really felt happy when saw the confident strokes he made. And there was no 90’s syndrome on his batting which he is famous for!. I wud say whoever watched the yest match are really lucky to get the image of little master who played one more innings of his lifetime. The Aussies played well too. A ton by Marsh. And Watson gave a very daring starting too. A score like 350 can be easily made in that stupid ground because the pitch condition was dry and completely flat. I was very sure that some really good cricket to be followed in the Indian innings..coz everyone knows about the hard hitters, Indian team has. So I left for home immediately from the office and just glued to tv ignoring other stuffs. Sachin’s shots were very classic.. There were some dropped catches, mishits.. but still, all are a part of the game rite !. I watched the entire Indian innings for two things.. one is obviously for its happening in Hyderabad ..heheh. The other thing is I wished the match’s result in my mind and wanted that to happen. So was seriously sticking on to TV.
There were no ‘maa-ki’s and ‘obnoxious weed’ sledging in the matches. But still our bowlers sucked a big time and conceded runs. Damn ! Sachin scored 175. Its half of the target . And good support by Raina. But Yuvi, the prince of patiala..got out very cheaply. Aussie team, lacking their main bowlers siddle, lee , Johnson still managed to do it. Sachin is the God. And one must agree that this chap is still young and his shots are still powerful. The whole crowd went aloud whenever sachin clears the boundary. It was fun to watch it on tv also with the cute DOCOMO ads coming all the time and making to hum the tune and sing along with it ! . Good ‘cricket’ after a long time. The stupid IPL should be banned. Cricket should not be treated as entertainment stuff. Football is different from cricket. But we cant have IPILL , sorry IPL just for the sake of commercial purposes. But still I am waiting for next IPL season so that fakeiplplayer will rise from the ashes again !!
Honestly I wud say.. Sachin deserves this match. But not the Indian team. Any way , my friend got completely pissed off after watching the match that he started abusing all the Indian players. I was little disturbed too. I felt so sorry for sachin. I tuned into Pink floyd for some time.. High hopes, coming back to life, shine on you crazy diamond... Then checked my mobile phone for any message as usual. No messages yet. . Another day ended with a defeat. Hoping that the 7th ODI should be the FINAL . Coz I am bunking the office and going for it straight to the stadium. "Mom...I am gonna be on TV !!" :)
